Portfolio

Though I started quilting at the ripe old age of four years old, throughout my school years I would draw, paint, collage, photograph; Exploring anything and everything I could from elementary school and well into college. Many of my past and current works merge my interests in medium exploration and overlap my pop culture interests with my 'fine' art education. I've merged crafts thought as 'lesser than' with 'fine art' techniques and mediums: Impressionist painting styles with the addition of comic style highlights or linework to create scenes and props from my favorite movies. I've honored my beloved quilters and merged their craft with pixel art through giant recycled paper collages. I continue to consume the world around me so that I may create, and as I create I trust my intuition and interests to lead me.
